Here is a great little video that I first posted over at FungusFacts. I provide step by step instruction one exactly how to apply a topical nail fungus treatment so that you maximize your chances of success and reduce the length of your treatment. These are some of the steps that I covers in detail in the video:
- Preparing the nail for treatment
- How to scrape away (‘debride’) the nail with a coarse nail file (and why you should not miss this step)
- Exactly where to apply the topical treatment. I uses Tea Tree Oil in my example but the same methods apply for other topical treatments. However please always read the specific instructions that come with your product. There may be some important differences.
- What to do after application.
I also goes into quite a lot of detail on the reasons why you should take care when you treat your nails topically and include a number of diagrams which I hope adds clarity.
